Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Suiren is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). By downloading or using Suiren you agree to that agreement. The points below explain how it applies to Suiren and do not replace it.

Suiren+ subscriptions

Decoration sets

Decoration sets are one-time purchases. Once bought, they are yours to keep and can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Refunds

All purchases are made through Apple's App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves, but we're glad to help with any problem: email us.

Not medical advice

Suiren is a habit tracker, not a medical or mental health service. If you are trying to quit something harmful, or are struggling, please talk to a doctor or a qualified professional. The helplines shown in the app are US services, provided for your convenience. In an emergency, call 911.

Friends and pond cards

Friend invites and pond cards are optional and are shared only when you choose to. One invite can be accepted by any number of friends for a year, and each pond can grow up to 30 storeys (six pagodas). Each pond can accept one invite. Please share invites only with people you want to connect with. Names you give storeys stay on your iPhone.

Your data

Suiren stores your data only on your device and in backups you control, apart from the small invite records described in the Privacy Policy. See the Privacy Policy. Please keep a backup: we can't recover data from a lost or reset phone.

Contact

Suiren is made by Marcin Knara, an independent developer, who is responsible for this app and these terms. Questions about these terms? Email suiren-app@gmail.com or see the Support page.
