Common questions

Where is my data?

Everything is stored on your iPhone. There is no account to sign in to. To move to a new phone, or to keep a copy safe, use Settings → Backup. You can export a backup file or turn on the daily backup to your iCloud Drive.

How do friend invites work?

Open Settings → Friends and tap Make an invite, then share the link with as many friends as you like. Each friend who accepts it (after their first koi hatches) gives you both a storey on a friendship pagoda. Five storeys finish a pagoda, up to six pagodas (30 storeys), and you can store a pagoda in the build drawer like any other object. Invites stay open for a year, and each pond can accept one invite. Your storey appears the next time you open Suiren. Invites need iCloud; if you were invited, open the link again after installing, or type the code in Settings → Friends → I was invited.

How do I share a pond card?

Open Settings → Friends → Make a pond card, or tap Card in photo mode, or make one from a milestone. Pick a headline, choose whether to add a friend invite, then save or share it. Cards never show your habit names.

How do I link a habit to Apple Health?

Edit the habit and choose Apple Health, then pick steps, workouts, sleep or mindful minutes and a goal. The habit checks itself in when you reach it. If nothing happens, open the Health app, tap your profile, then Apps → Suiren, and make sure Suiren may read that kind of data. To save meditation as Mindful Minutes, allow writing Mindful Minutes there too.

Where is my focus timer?

While a focus session runs, its timer shows on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. If you don't see it, check that Live Activities are on for Suiren in the iPhone Settings app under Suiren.

How do I restore a backup?

Open Settings → Backup and tap one of your iCloud Drive backups, or tap Import pond to open a .suiren file you exported earlier.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the Suiren+ screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.

How do I cancel Suiren+?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Suiren+. See Apple's guide.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

My widget isn't updating.

Open Suiren once, which refreshes the widgets. If it's still stuck, remove the widget and add it again.
